Dr Dick & The Vasectomist team visits Springfield on a Tuesday, bringing our legendary service to outer-Ipswich. The clinic is co-located with Total Upper GI Surgery inside the new Greater Springfield Specialist Suites, the medical hub serving Ipswich and outer South-West Brisbane. The clinic is scheduled on some Tuesdays when we have the clinic to ourselves.

Eceptional specialist. From start to finish, my... experience with Dr. Beatty was nothing short of excellent. His (and Katies) professionalism and expertise immediately put me at ease, making the entire process smooth and comfortable.I found Dr. Beatty through a double take of his name, knowing his first name, I took it as Dr. D Beater and laughed so hard, I had to do a double take, this is what led me to choose this place (along with it being close to home).I was greeted by Katie the moment I walked into the door, she asked me how I was feeling, how my anxiety was and helped me feel at ease. After some paperwork and a great conversation about our kids and dogs, I was seen on schedule by Dr. Beatty.Dr. Beatty is kind, and really put my mind at ease and answered any questions that I had. He brought up the information placed on my booking and provided information on my life circumstances and how my healing progress would go around that (such as a timeline for returning to the Gym, and recovery in the workplace).He further used additional information during the procedure itself to take my mind off things, and we got into a great conversation regarding my job (again, always happy to help out if needed), his job, my family, our life, interests and travelling. These are not the conversations you expect to have while someone is performing a Vasectomy, but it helped!The procedure itself is best described as uncomfortable (downstairs) at times, you're given notice whenever certain things are doing to happen and the oppurtunity to take breaks if needed (I didn't). Again, the conversation helped a lot with this. The procedure was quick, being my first time asked by any doctor, ever, to drop my pants and do something like this, I was surprised at how comfortable I was made to feel.After this, I was taken to a seperate Office where Katie gave me a coke, a cool can cooler and some time to just sit down. She came back in afterwards, we went through a post op questions, some recovery instructions and answered any questions I had. Told her about how I found them, we had a good chuckle, and I was on my way.The facilities are modern, spacious and well-maintained, without that overwhelming "hospital" smell you get at similar practices, providing a clean and welcoming environment for patients.I highly recommend Dr. Beatty & Katie for anyone considering a vasectomy. Their expertise, professionalism, and dedication to patient care set them apart as a leading specialist in the field. I had a positive experience and am grateful for the outstanding care I received.I'll see you both at the next world cup.read more

Take the lift to level 5. We are co-located with Total Upper GI Surgery (Suite 502).

Look for ‘Specialist Suites Visitor Parking’ located on Wellness way (on the opposite side of the road Greater Springfield Specialist Suites / Quest Hotel).
