Dr Dick Beatty and The legendary Vasectomist team visit The Gold Coast on alternate Thursdays, and the occasional Friday. You can expect a warm welcome from Kasey, our team member who visits Coomera with the doctor.

Our particular ‘niche’ on the Gold Coast is an amazingly comfortable sedation-free vasectomy. Whilst most men have anxiety about the procedure, fewer than 1 in 500 men do not proceed due to anxiety. In other words, you’ll be just fine.

We pride ourselves on a great service and excellent outcomes.

There’s a Vas Deferens between having and not having more kids, and Dr. D snips both of them while having a chat so cordial and casual that you don’t even notice him doing it!Even if it’s been on the agenda for years, it can be a bit confronting facing the snip. However, the moment you walk in, Katie knows you by name and puts you at your ease in a very friendly, but highly professional manner. Dr. D then lays out the procedure, takes questions and does the deed, and Katie has a post-procedure care chat and sends you home with a ginger ale and a party bag of sample cups and snip-themed stubby holders!Overall, 10/10 experience and would unreservedly recommend to anyone considering the world’s best contraceptive!

As far as getting the Snip goes the clinic was great. The team are awesome to deal with and the procedure went well. They also have vouchers available which made my Christmas Day present more interesting than normal.

I was crazy nervous going into the clinic on day of procedure, but the ladies at reception were really warm and welcoming and calming. Dr. D was amazing! Made me feel really calm and comfortable and even threw in a few jokes to make the experience way better than I thought it would be. I would use him again if I could :). Would highly recommend Dr D, very professional and friendly. I’m 5 days post surgery and from the procedure itself to recovery, all has been very smooth sailing with no notable symptoms or problems.

The experience provided was relaxed and approach was genuinely gentle. Dr D had a conversation with me whilst doing the procedure and genuinely took an interest which was nice. On the bed for about 15-20mins max with no discomfort. Lovely Katie explained the after care thoroughly and answered the silly questions I had. 100% recommend if looking for a vasectomy. Got a stubby cooler with a sly Dad joke on it which was quite funny.

M1 exit 57 (Oxenford, Hope Island) onto Dreamworld Parkway. Once parked, take the lift to level 1, where you will see the clinic opposite the lift exit.
